Blog Rebrand and Q&A!

Soooooooo, notice anything different?

It’s only taken three months but my new blog is finally live and you guys I love it so much! I spent so much time customizing this blog and while there are still a few things that need tweaking, it’s here for you to explore!

In celebration of my blog rebirth, I decided to do a little Q&A so my both my long time readers and newbies can get to know me: the girl behind the computer screen!

What’s your go-to coffee order?

Medium, butter pecan (decaf if I’m being good) iced coffee with almond milk.

I always, always get this when I go to Dunkin Donuts, but never have I ever paid the same price. The second time I ever ordered this I had the exact bills and change ready, but they told me a different price! Since then it’s always been something different, too! I think they just forget to charge me for almond milk sometimes or accidentally charge me for a small or something. I have no idea.

Cats or dogs?

Cats. Cats. Cats.

However, everyone in my family has dogs so they are starting to grow on me. But they still scare me.

What’s your favorite place to shop?

I’m obsessed with Aerie. Their no retouching policy amazes me and gives me the utmost confidence in my own body. I currently own 15 of their bralettes.

That’s probably the only store I regularly stalk online. I don’t really pay attention to other places unless I need something in particular or have a shopping craving. Other stores I shop at are: Forever 21, H&M, Charlotte Russe, BooHoo, Victoria’s Secret, and Francesca’s.

When did you start working out?

Believe it or not, eight years ago I didn’t want anything to do with exercise.

My mom had to literally force to join the middle track team, but thank goodness she did. Track started my love of running, which led to my love of lifting when my freshmen year track coach introduced me to a squat rack. However, my passion for lifting heavy things didn’t reach full-force until senior year of high school when I took a weight lifting PE class. (Which I was also the only girl in for the first half of the semester.)

What’s the #1 book on your TBR this summer?

I have been dying to get my hands on a copy of Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur. I discovered her poems recently and really connect to her messages so I wanted to read more of her work! Apparently, every one else feels the same because I was on the waitlist for this at my library for over a month before I got it in my hands.

Fiction-wise, I’m really excited to read The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy by Jenny Han.

Who is your celebrity crush?

Shawn Mendes. Justin Bieber. Ned Fulmer. Tom Hiddleston. Andrew Garfield. Ryan Reynolds. Eddie Redmayne. Grant Gustin. Jensen Ackles. Joseph Gordon-Levit. Tom Felton. Colton Haynes. Dave Franco. Zac Efron. Austin Butler. Miles Teller. Evan Peters. Jordan Calloway. Brian Littrell. Jordan Fisher.

Oh, you meant pick one? Oops.

What’s a secret talent you have?

I can peel clementine oranges in one go. Beat that.

If there were a book about your life, what would the title be?

The Loudest Laugh in the Room.

I’m known to have the loudest, most annoying, and sometimes scariest laugh of anyone. I have a witch cackle that sometimes turns into snorts or a high-pitched squeak. It’s a fun time.

What’s a weird habit you have?

I have to put my left sock on before my right. Always. If I put the right one on first I have to take it off and start over.

Which HGTV show is your favorite?

Anything with Jonathon and Drew Scott. So Property Brothers and Brother vs Brother. I literally have a reminder set on my phone so I don’t miss the latter. (Even though I did last week. Oops.)

Now you know 10 more things about me that you probably didn’t know before.

Also, I hope you love my new layout as much as I do! I spent so long trying to perfect it and was so worried about the transfer (Wix to WordPress), but everything went great!

It’s your turn now!
